Seventh Task:


What I wanted to portray with this drawing is the process of being a teacher with a classroom that is not used to someone that allows different thoughts and shapes. When I was at school some teachers did not want us to be critical or to think/belief different thinks from the ones the teachers stood for. Besides, it is important to emphasise on children's development at the learning process. Every child is different regarding the learning and acquisition process.
To finish with, the teacher is portrayed as a chocolate bar because I think that what students need, is someone full of surprises. Thus, I based my drawing on a quote from the movie "Forrest Grump" which said that life is like a box of chocolates because one does not know what is going to be on there.

Second Task: Reflective Teaching... What is it?

Every teacher has got his own style regarding the teaching process. Such process needs to be assessed by the own knowledge and experience that the teacher gets through the different situations and issues s/he faces. Thus, the teacher carries out a self-observation and a self-evaluation of his/her own process towards the way he teaches, the activities developed in the classes, and the way the actions taken to solve problems. The reflection occurs not only in something that the teacher does but also becomes an exercises that implies the students' perceptions and reflections upon the process and issues mentioned.

Third Task: Reflective Teaching based on the Movie "Reflective Teaching"

What is reflective teaching? Reflective teaching is the process that educators do in order to self-evaluate their teaching process. How important is reflective teaching? It is important for the teacher and the students. Being reflective endorses the way teachers develop the different activities and what activities are needed for a specific group after regarding prior experience and knowledge, What is the cycle of reflection like? Thinking: It is the process that students and teachers carry out to understand what are the problems and issues to take actions with.
